천주

Cheonju (totality of spiritual and physical worlds) – 天宙 [cheonju]

Translates as the totality of spiritual and physical worlds. Cheonju is formed by the characters 天 (cheon) and 宙 (ju). The character 天 (cheon) emphasizes Heaven, that is, that the universe encompasses both the spiritual and the physical world. Due to this, the word Сheonju defines the cosmos more deeply, in contrast to the word 우주 (uju), which is used to describe the universe in Korean.

Etymology

天 (cheon) – heaven, sky;
宙 (ju) – infinite time, open space;
